Welder Training School: Bear Metal Works supplied all the material to fabricate welding booths for the new welder training
school at QIS (Quality Inspection Services), on Broadway Ave. in Depew, NY. This training school will be teaching our future workers of tomorrow,
all the new technologies available for welding.
Chinese Restaurant: In November we recently shipped a polished stainless steel exhaust hood for a Chinese restaurant in Watertown,
NY for Balcerzak Builders.
HSBC Tower: While the first two projects were highly visible, this project is almost invisible to the naked eye. High on top of the
38th floor of the HSBC tower in downtown Buffalo, Bear Metal Works fabricated and painted two camera mount fixtures, for the security firm called
Armor Access. These fixtures are supporting two cameras worth $150,000 each that will monitor the ice boom in the Niagara River, for the NYPA (
New York Power Authority).
Avant Condos: The last project was high up in the sky, but we also can get down and dirty working underground. Bear Metal Works
was just awarded a contract to replace 1,680 linear ft. of trench grading in the basement parking garage of the new Avant Luxury Condos in Downtown
Buffalo.
Innovate Buffalo Niagara Through the greater Buffalo Niagara Partnership, Bear Metal Works has been nominated as one of 60 companies here in WNY that are being Innovative with
equipment or personnel. We did not make the cut to the 21 finalists but are very proud to be mentioned with the very prestigious group of companies such as,
GEICO, Independent Health, Kaleida, Perry’s Ice Cream and Roswell Park. We were nominated in the manufacturing category for our investment in equipment such as
(Wile E.), our modern robotic welder, and our locally produced LVD Strippit Turret Punch.
