Chris N. – Chris comes to Bear Metal Works as a contractor/roofer but has experience in the field of welding and fabricating. Chris’ day to day duties include cutting, fitting and mig welding.
Dave S. – Dave joins us as a former co-worker of Chris N. as a contractor and craftsman. His day to day duties include stroke sanding and learning the art of polishing for our stainless X-1 presses.
Feliz C. – Feliz comes to Bear Metal Works from another local fabrication shop where he was a shipping and receiving coordinator. He brings his hard working skills to control the robot production and grinding.
Manny R. – Manny comes back to Bear Metal now as a full time employee since recently graduating from Buffalo State College. He will be in charge of our other robotic welder located over at Plant 2.
Anthony B. – Anthony is the nephew of our saw operator John and has brought with us dedication and hard working skills. Before Bear Metal, Anthony served as a part time security guard and will now take over the stroke sanding department.
Luis C. – Luis brings us welding experience and determination every day to work. He is our lead grinder on the robotic welded frames and produces quality work in a timely fashion.
January D. – January comes to us from a nearby lumber manufacturer where she was in accounting and administration. She brings her many years of experience in marketing, banking and finances. She assumes the full time responsibilities of office manager, job costing and work flow. Make sure you say hi next time you call or stop in to see us!
Josh L. – Josh continues to be our programmer for Bear Metal’s welding robots. He is officially an engineer for a local industrial liquid gas producer, but spends nights and weekends helping us keep production going.
Pete P. – Pete joins the team as head Programmer for our turret punch and new laser. He comes over from a local steel job shop and brings us his 30+ years of experience in the field.
Gloria G. – Gloria comes to us from a furniture company where she was a wood working draftsman. She is being retained under NYS Workforce Development for the steel industry in AutoCad.
