On the 12th floor of the new 250 Delaware building recently completed by Uniland, lies an executive terrace with breath taking views. Denler Stainless was asked to wrap these fiberglass columns that were previously white, with stainless steel. This gives the terrace a whole new modern look and really fits with the overall genre of the building. These columns are 12 feet tall and sit on top of a heated concrete paved patio. Bear Den Services came in to install each of these columns, which took (3) four foot pieces of 20ga stainless steel wrapped around the column and then riveted to the original fiberglass. All joints were made as tight as possible so there is very little visibility of seams. After each column was wrapped and secured to the floor and roof, we fabricated custom rings to go around the top and bottom of the column to give it that more modern look and cover any blemishes left by the previous header.
